Synopsis... 
a ridge of high pressure along with generally mostly clear skies 
will prevail through this week and into next weekend.

Discussion... 


Upper trough is expected to move through the region late tonight 
and early Tuesday with breezy conditions and slightly cooler 
temperatures. Closed low will remain to our south with no impact. Ridge 
has already flattened out and slightly cooler temperatures today expected 
from yesterday by a few degrees. Some clouds are possible with the 
trough passage on Tuesday in the Sierra. 


Ridge builds back in on Wednesday with warming trend to return. GFS is 
bringing another trough through here on Thursday night into Friday 
with clouds and breezy conditions and cooler temperatures again on Friday. 
Ridge comes back in late on Sat and continues into Monday. 


No significant changes to ongoing forecast with continued dry and 
seasonal conditions expected over the next 7 days.

local MVFR visibilities in mist and haze are possible in the San 
Joaquin through 20z today. Otherwise VFR conditions will prevail 
across the central California interior through 12z Tuesday
