Area forecast discussion...mesoscale update

Update...lowered the afternoon highs over the western sections and 
raised them up a tad to the east but expect temperatures to fall 
about 10 degrees over the east this afternoon as the cold front 
moves across. At 11 am the front was just east of Destin to near 
Greenville. A brief line of showers continues to move northeast from 
near Crestview to Evergreen with a few patches of light rain/drizzle 
behind the front. A few breaks in the clouds along the southern 
sections but with cooler pouring in...don't expect temperatures to 
get much above 50 this afternoon over the west...if that high. Gusty 
westerly winds will continue...higher along the beaches. No changes 
made to tonight. /11

Aviation update for 21/18z...expect some brief VFR conditions 
mainly over the southwest coastal areas and just a bit 
inland...otherwise generally MVFR with a brief patch of IFR in and 
near the band of showers and drizzle moving across the northeast 
this afternoon. MVFR ceilings will return to the entire area from 
early evening and continue overnight and into Monday. /11
